At Total Estate, our typical estate sale is an in-home sale that lasts three days in duration, with patrons visiting your home Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The estate sale process starts with an initial consultation, which is always free, and discreet. Once you decide to work with Total Estate, we set a date for the sale and begin preparing the home. All estate sales are advertised to afford the sale the exposure necessary to bring in motivated buyers.
Our team will handle all aspects of pricing and display, often finding the hidden potential in forgotten items.
A very important fact to be aware of is that we are full-service, meaning the family won’t have to lift a finger throughout the entire liquidation process. We will handle the entire liquidation with the goal of relieving the stress of this process from the family entirely. When someone contracts with us, they will get the most money for their items and their house will be totally empty post-sale. Our goal is to sell as much as we can to give our clients the most benefit from using our services.
At Total Estate, we are dedicated to maximizing the value of your estate while ensuring a smooth and professional estate liquidation. Finally, we will leave your premises empty and spotless, so you can remain totally free from the hassles of an often stressful situation.
No out-of-pocket costs to you… only a commission on the sales that we generate. Regarding commissions, first and foremost, we completely align our interests with yours during the estate sale process. We do this by only charging a commission on the sales that we generate. Many estate sale companies charge back fees and expenses just to hold a sale. We, on the other hand, only charge a commission, and thus assure your family that we are maximizing your proceeds, since for every additional dollar that we generate, we both earn more. In order to determine a commission rate, we will need to tour the home (this takes only about 30 minutes) so we have an idea of what we will be selling and the time and effort that it will take to do so. We can then give an estimate, further explain the estate sale process, and answer any questions that you may have.
